You don’t need to open the app every time you want to talk to a character. Vibeside now has a real phone number. You can text from iMessage or SMS, same blue and green bubbles you already use with friends.
How it works
Save the Vibeside number to your contacts. Pick a character on the web, then send a short START code (or scan the QR). From there it’s just texting. You type what you’d type anyone else. They reply like a person on your phone, not a chatbot in a browser tab.
Keep a chat going on your phone
Already mid-conversation on the web? Link your phone, then continue that thread from Messages. Or start fresh with a character you like. Either way, the point is the same: the chat lives where you already check your texts.
What it’s for
Quick check-ins. Late-night back and forth. Characters that feel like they’re in your pocket, not locked inside an app. Text HELP if you need a nudge. Text STOP anytime if you want outbound texts to stop.
