Reply styles are coming soon
Characters shouldn’t all text the same. We’re working on reply styles so you can decide how someone actually writes back. Short and dry. Warm and chatty. All lowercase. Barely any emoji. Whatever fits the chat.
From text or image
This is the part we’re most excited about. You paste a speech sample, drop in a chat screenshot, or both. Optional notes help steer it (“more sarcastic,” “keep it lowercase”). We pull the writing out of that input and send it through OpenAI to draft a full reply style: a name, how replies should sound, and the trait picks that match.
You get a preview in a chat bubble, can nudge it with a quick edit, then save it for later. The idea is simple. Show us how someone texts, and we turn that into something you can reuse in conversations.
Or build it by hand
You can still set the pieces yourself (length, tone, writing style, and the rest), peek at sample replies, then refine until it feels right. Same preview and save flow either way.
None of this is in the app yet. We’re still finishing the flow, and we’ll tell you when you can try it. For now, keep chatting and creating on the web. Join the waitlist if you want a ping when reply styles (and the full iPhone app) are ready.
